Listening effectively to children, and speaking so they can understand.
This is a 1-day zoom taster session for early years teachers, teaching assistants and others that work with young children, where you will learn how to improve your communication with children (aged 0 – 8 years old).
It is well documented that there is a huge shortage of support for children with mental and emotional health issues. At Dunamis Therapy Hub we are passionate about Children’s emotional and physical wellbeing and want to help.
The day will include basic listening skills, blocks to listening, being aware of potential COVID behavioural changes in young children, speaking so children listen, and more.
We envisage offering a longer version of this one-day course for those who wish to further enrich their knowledge in this area.
