Our Tutors

have been working in the field of psychotherapy for over 60 years combined. We were inspired to set up Dunamis Therapy Hub to share our experience, skills and ethos.

Dunamis Therapy Hub is a small private college offering a humanistic creative therapeutic diploma in counselling and studio events for continual professional development. Based in East Sussex, we are passionate about writing, philosophical thinking, spiritual connections, creativity, imagination and research.

Sara Bishop MBACP (Accred)
Director and Founder
I am an experienced therapist with over 26 years experience of private practice with a special interest in trauma. I love sharing my passion for the wellbeing of people. As a trainer of adults I enjoy seeing students push themselves to their true potential. I believe that education needs to be fun, humorous and that the stories we tell each other go to the heart of the human condition. I believe in the marvelous way people find creative solutions to their issues.
Rachel Cutler MBACP (Accred)
I am a trainer and counsellor in private practice and an accredited member of the BACP. I gained a Post Graduate Diploma in Humanistic Therapeutic Counselling at the University of Brighton and a Post Graduate Diploma in Psychology at London Metropolitan University. I am also a qualified Life Coach. I have worked as an oral and social historian for the British Library and have lectured in sport history and culture at the universities of Surrey and Southampton. I have a special interest in the relationship between physical wellbeing and mental health and I am currently working on research into the correlation between positive self-esteem and body modification. As part of the Dunamis Therapy Hub I want to promote excellence in training and help develop the next generation of counsellors, with a focus on the use of creativity in learning.
Sally Valentine MBACP (Accred)

In 1993 I gained a diploma in counselling followed by a diploma in supervision. I have been in private practice since qualification. I Then trained in person centred art therapy. I am interested in trauma and the impact it has on people and have trained to diploma level and attended many courses on the subject. I am also BACP (Accredited)

My area of interest is working with children and adults with ADHD, ASD and other similar conditions.

Sally Valentine was my tutor and trainer on my counselling diploma training 2011- 14. She was inspiring, generous, and practical in her approach and  I now have a very busy private practice. I continue to be inspired by her teaching in my work and cannot recommend her highly enough.
